These documentation rules were discussed in an article published after the Slovenian regulation appeared in Official Gazette No. 30/2023. The page preserves the context of those changes. Its transitional dates are historical and are not instructions for a new application.
Documentation rules introduced in 2023
The regulation entered into force on 18 March 2023. The original article described a transitional period ending on 1 January 2025 for specified documentation prepared under the previous rules.
The changes addressed project and other construction documentation and the associated forms. New document types introduced with GZ-1 included DPP for project and other conditions and PZO for building removal.
Other project stages
The article also described revised provisions for DGD, PZI, PID and DL. These stages serve different purposes: permission, execution, the executed condition and legalisation. A set of documents prepared for one stage does not automatically replace another.
Read our DGD guide and explanation of construction and completion documents for the practical distinction.
Forms and electronic structure
Forms were updated to reflect the terminology of GZ-1. The regulation addressed their content and format, including where fields could be added or removed. It also set out a common structure and naming for electronic documentation folders.
Technical requirements for vector spatial data were part of the changes. The required digital format and coordinate framework should be checked against the current submission rules. An old file layout should not be assumed to remain suitable.
Using the archive for a new project
The article is useful for understanding why the documentation system changed. For a current commission, verify the applicable regulation, current forms and relevant electronic submission requirements through the Slovenian Legal Information System and official project guidance.
